#MeetUsMonday :: Introducing Jim

We are so excited to introduce you to Jim, one of our newest team members! He is a Senior Manager in our CFO Services group making things happen in Cincinnati on the daily!

Not being your average bean counters, it's important to us that you know who we are, what we stand for, and the crazy things we spend our time doing when we aren't serving you! Now, get to know....

Introduce your family:

Married to my lovely wife, Teri, for 35 years. Met her at UC when I looked to sublet her Mt. Auburn apartment one summer, but ended up snubbing her and moving into a different apartment a few floors below. Ended up all well though. Teri is an Army brat, surviving 4 middle schools and 3 high schools and is a proud member of the large west-side, Sicilian roots, produce-selling, “Cianciolo” clan. She currently works at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery. Oldest son, Alex, graduated a Dayton Flyer and is currently employed as a Business Analyst in the Cincinnati area. Middle child, Chris, a Clemson Tiger and ASU Sun Devil, just moved into a fixer-upper outside of Boulder CO. Chris is an alternative energy (think solar and wind) engineer working on projects across the US. Youngest, Jenn, an Ohio Bobcat with a Biology degree, somehow found her way to Seattle and is working as a Program Manager for the Microsoft Azure team.

What are you most looking forward to in the next few months?

Can’t wait to jump in and support Brixey and Meyer’s many clients. I know Griffin is spread pretty thin serving both A&A and CFO clients here in the Cincinnati market and can use an extra hand. Looking forward to the diversity of work that serving a broad client base will bring – making each day a different opportunity and a unique challenge.

Why do you do what you do?

Despite the large employer background, I have found my most rewarding experiences ‘building new’ or ‘transforming existing’ business models. There is something extremely gratifying about starting out small, sweating through the trials and tribulations and then seeing the fruits of your labor – not to mention great learning experiences.

At which store would you like to max-out your credit card?

I would I max out my credit card at the REI store in Anchorage AK

The best chip ever is...

One that goes in the cup

What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?

That's a toss up: normally it is to read historical books about great conflicts – Napoleon’s peninsular wars, American revolution, Civil war, WWII, etc., but during the COVID era it has been a steady stream of jigsaw puzzles (who would have thought).

That's a wrap!  We can't wait to share more about all of our team members, but  since there is more to us than just counting beans we are going to take this one rockstar at a time!  Until next #MeetUsMonday ... Go Make Dreams Come True!
