Ohio’s New Relocation Incentive

Have you relocated any employees into Ohio in 2025? Do you plan on relocating any employees into Ohio this year or in the next few years? JobsOhio is helping with employee relocation costs! BUT funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and for targeted industries and employees. This new incentive program offers $15,000 for each STEM or technical employee who relocates from out-of-state. A company may receive up to $225,000 in funding.

Who is a qualified employer? The program is available for Ohio employers of any size although they need to be in one of the following industries:

• Advanced Manufacturing
• Additive Manufacturing
• Aerospace & Aviation
• Automotive
• Advanced Mobility
• Energy & Chemicals
• Financial Services
• Insurtech
• Food & Agribusiness
• Healthcare
• Logistics & Distribution
• Military & Federal
• Technology
• Cybersecurity

Who are qualified employees? Ohio resident or soon to be resident W-2 employees are eligible to be on the application. Independent contractors do not qualify. Employees must be STEM or technical employees.

What expenses are eligible? Almost all used to recruit out-of-state talent!
