Starting this week, Ohio is accepting applications to distribute $155 million in grant funding to small and medium-sized businesses in Ohio.

Businesses can apply for one of the following four grant categories:

  1. Food and Beverage Establishment Grants,

  3. Lodging Grants, and
  4. New Small Business Grants (for businesses that opened in 2020).

All programs are administered by the Ohio Development Services Agency. See below for details on each of the grant programs.

The Food and Beverage Establishment Grant provides grants up to $30,000 to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and other food and drinking businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The amount of individual grants to eligible businesses will be determined by the business’ loss of revenue in 2020.

The Entertainment Venue Grant provides grants up to $30,000 to theaters, music venues, spectator sports venues, museums, and other entertainment establishments affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
