She is an Assistant on our HR Team who is making things happen in Dayton on the daily!  Not being your average bean counters, it's important to us that you know who we are, what we stand for, and the crazy things we spend our time doing when we aren't serving you! [<<<  Samantha Strasburger  >>>](https://www.linkedin.com/in/samanthastrasburger/) **Introduce your family:** I have two older brothers, Hunter & Kyle, which means I grew up with built in trouble makers, but also bodyguards!  I have a nephew and two nieces , Charles, Charlotte, and Claudia. I am working hard to gain the title of 'favorite aunt'. I was born and raised in Centerville, OH-- My dad and brothers still live in and work in the area. My mom, on the other hand, traded Midwest life for southern charm after I graduated high school and now lives in a Tiny Home Community on Lookout Mountain in Georgia. ![Family Pic](https://blog.brixeyandmeyer.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Family%20Pic.jpg?width=342&height=257&name=Family%20Pic.jpg) **![Picture with Mom](https://blog.brixeyandmeyer.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Picture%20with%20Mom.jpg?width=344&height=258&name=Picture%20with%20Mom.jpg)** \*My dad & two brothers (hunter on left in blue, kyle is in red) & my mom and I from vacation this summer\* **What are you most looking forward to over the next couple of months?** I am most looking forward to vacation- I am visiting Florida at the end of April and working on planning a trip to California for my birthday in June. **Why do you do what you do?** The most rewarding part of my job is helping to welcome great people onto our team. Hiring/changing jobs is a significant decision, not just for the employer but also for the new hire, as changing jobs can impact every aspect of an individuals life. It's so rewarding to see when a good match is made, how much it can benefit both the individual and the team.   Favorite Dessert? Cereal. Specifically Honey Nut Cheerios or Fruit Loops. You might argue this is a breakfast food but there is nothing better than a bowl of cereal after dinner. What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?  I love going to Thrift and Antique stores. There's something so exciting about finding something I never knew I needed but instantly love. If you take me to a thrift store, it's a guaranteed I will lose track of time. It's like a treasure hunt. What, or who, are you a "closet" fan of? Danny Devito. My favorite Movie that he is in is *Matilda* and favorite show is *It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia*. Share a picture of something you love.
