We are so excited to introduce you to Kristen, one of our newest team members! She is a Staff Accountant on our Tax Team who is making things happen in Columbus on the daily!
Not being your average bean counters, it's important to us that you know who we are, what we stand for, and the crazy things we spend our time doing when we aren't serving you! Now, get to know....
Introduce your family:
I come from a family of six, with my two parents and three siblings. My parents moved to Philadelphia when I was a freshman in college, but we all still consider Columbus our home. My older brother Matt works and lives in Philadelphia, my older sister Megan lives in Seoul, South Korea teaching English, and my younger brother Jack is a freshman accounting major at the University of Dayton. Even though we are all far away from each other, we stay closely connected.
What are you most looking forward to over the next couple of months?
I am most looking forward to my trip to Paris in June with a couple of my close friends.
Why do you do what you do?
I have always loved learning, so it is very rewarding for me to be able to gain a new piece of knowledge with every project I do and with every person I am able to work with. Public accounting has exposed me to new things every day, and I have already learned so much in my short time working in the field. I am lucky to work with people who pass down their knowledge from their own experience and expertise.

I have recently started oil painting for fun for the first time since high school, and I have had a lot of fun learning new techniques and practicing them. I also have been learning how to use alcohol markers as a medium which I have been enjoying.
