The 2024 HSA Contribution Limits have been released by the IRS, which refer to the maximum dollar amount permitted to contribute each year to their health savings account. It’s important to have these limits in mind when planning for the future.
In 2024, individuals can contribute up to $4,130, which is up $280 from the $3,850 limit in 2023. For family in 2024, contributions are capped at $8,300, which is up $550 from the $7,750 limit in 2023.
The catch-up contribution limit for those 55 & older remains $1,000 in 2024.
